Meet Chino! He's a sweet 4-year-old Maltese who is looking for a special person to call his own. Chino is a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he'll be your most devoted companion. He enjoys quiet companionship and would thrive in a home with a single person or older adult who has experience with dogs and can offer him a calm, consistent environment. He enjoys being near his people and is learning to accept affection. He walks well on a leash and is motivated by treats, especially cheese! While Chino lives with other dogs, he prefers to observe rather than play, content to lounge and soak up attention.

Ideal Home

Chino would do best in a calm and quiet home with a single person or older adult who has prior dog experience. He needs a patient owner who can help him build trust and learn to accept affection.

Transporation

Chino is located in Texas and can be transported to various locations across the US and Canada. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An additional $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
