Nola is an approximately 2.5-year-old, 20-pound bundle of love looking for a forever family. This fluffy little girl has more hair than fur, giving her an irresistibly soft, silky coat that feels like a cloud. When you stroke her or give her gentle kisses on the head, she simply melts into your hands. While Nola is a little shy when meeting new people or facing unfamiliar situations, she warms up in seconds with a little encouragement and perhaps a tasty treat. Nola is the definition of a "Velcro dog." She'll happily follow you from room to room, curl up beside you on the couch, rest at your feet while you work, and snuggle beside you in bed at night. When left alone, she waits patiently and quietly for your return. Her greatest joy is simply being with her person. Nola enjoys stuffed toys and chasing a ball, but her most endearing trait may be her adorable little run. She sometimes misjudges heights and can be delightfully clumsy, which only adds to her charm and keeps everyone around her smiling. She is house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, is great in the car (as long as she can be your co-pilot!), knows basic commands, and is eager to please. Nola has done well with respectful children aged six and older and gets along very well with small dogs. She has not yet been tested with larger dogs. While comfortable with women, she can be a little cautious around men at first, but quickly relaxes once she realizes she is safe and loved. Nola is not a big barker. She generally only speaks up when someone is at the door or the doorbell rings, making her a great candidate for either a house, condo, or apartment. This special little girl has so much affection to give and is ready to become someone's loyal best friend.
Ideal Home
Her ideal home would be one where she can enjoy plenty of companionship. A retired person, someone who works from home, or a family with another friendly dog looking for a companion would be a wonderful match. Nola thrives on connection and is happiest when she can share her days with the people she loves.
Ongoing Health
Nola is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been spayed.
