This handsome boy is KING, a 6-8 year old lab mix with a fun, fluffy tail that makes him truly stand out! KING is a solid "10" on a scale of 1-10 for energy, always ready for an adventure and living life to the fullest. He's an athletic 55 lbs, incredibly friendly with people, kids, and other dogs, and has a sweet, quiet, and gentle disposition. While he's not overly affectionate, a gentle head rub against your face from KING will surely melt your heart. He's a well-rounded companion who is fairly self-sufficient and not high maintenance. KING is a smart boy with good common sense, easily following directions for crate time or to be quiet. He's not a big barker, but he will alert you to anything unusual. He appreciates a good meal but doesn't have a high food or prey drive. At the end of the day, KING is a tuckered-out pup, ready to relax and chill after regular activity and enrichment. He was found as a stray, unfortunately hit by a car, but he has since healed from his physical scars and is fully functioning. KING is ready for a wonderful home and family committed to showing him how great life can be.

Training & Support

KING is crate and house-trained and will alert you when he needs to go outside. He does not exhibit storm or separation anxiety. While KING is generally well-behaved, he has a history of chewing plastic water bowls, so metal bowls are recommended.
