Baltos is a happy, adaptable Labrador mix puppy with a playful spirit and a sweet heart. He is approximately 9 months old and weighs about 20 lbs, with an expected adult weight of around 38 lbs. Baltos is social and gets along very well with other dogs, children, men, and women, making him a wonderful family companion. At first, he can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly with a curious approach and a wagging tail. Once comfortable, he loves attention and being petted. Baltos is a well-rounded puppy who uses a crate, walks well on a leash, and lets you know when he needs to go outside to potty. He loves to play, especially with his toys, and enjoys chewing them and entertaining himself. Baltos is friendly, playful, and eager to learn, making him an excellent choice for a family looking for a loving and fun companion to grow with. This sweet boy is ready to bring joy, playfulness, and affection into his forever home. Please understand that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period, and patience and understanding are crucial for building trust and a strong bond.

Training & Support
Baltos is not yet house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued pets may have fears and anxieties due to past experiences and will need time to adapt to new environments and people. Providing a safe and loving environment, establishing a routine, and setting clear boundaries will help the dog feel secure.

Transporation
Baltos is currently fostered in Saltillo, Mexico and is ready to travel to the East Coast on a cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a transport fee of $400 USD. Trips are scheduled 3-4 times a year with a minimum of 15-20 adoptions per trip. A contracted transport company based in Montana sends a dedicated team to Mexico to collect adopted pets. All necessary legal documents, including a Transport Contract and Health Certificate from the USDA, are provided. For US adoptions, pets are escorted across the border into Texas. For Canadian adoptions, pets are delivered to the nearest US-Canada border. Real-time updates will be provided through a private Facebook Messenger group. The transport team will deliver your pet directly to your home address and conduct a final home review.
