Tucker

Tucker is a strikingly handsome pup who is quiet in a loud world. Born around February 2019, he is a cautious soul who needs someone willing to let him set the pace and celebrate the tiny wins. Tucker is very fearful of people, yet he has never shown aggression. His comfort zone just starts out a lot farther away than most. He doesn’t lean on other dogs for confidence the way many fearful pups do, so he’d be happiest as your one-and-only. He is easy to handle on leash, and once you’ve unlocked the secret code (translation: the extra-yummy treats), he’ll eventually take them gently from your hand. He may never turn into a big cuddler, but he's a sweet boy who deserves a forever home that sees value in small moments—a soft glance, a closer step, a treat accepted, a leash walk that feels a little less scary. If you’re patient and steady and you love the idea of being a sweet pup's safe place, Tucker is ready to meet you exactly as he is—quirks included, heart intact, and hoping you’re his forever.

A calm home without kids, where routines are peaceful, voices are soft, and trust can be built slowly.

Ongoing Health

Tucker has no known health conditions. His adoption fee includes his spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, and deworming.

Training & Support

Tucker is very fearful of people and needs a patient human who understands that trust is a marathon, not a sprint. He is easy to handle on leash.
