ZCL-D- River

River is a sweet mixed breed dog with the favorable markings and body style of a Dane and Boxer, though she's on the smaller side for those breeds. She currently weighs around 40 pounds but is underweight and should ideally be between 55-60 pounds. River was found as a stray and evaluated by a vet, who confirmed she was underweight and not microchipped. She's a major tail-wagger and loves being inside, but is currently staying outdoors.

Ideal Home

River is very adaptable and has shown no interest in cats, even walking right past them and stopping eating their food only when corrected. She is not a puppy but is not an old dog either.

Ongoing Health

River is currently underweight and needs to reach a healthier weight of 55-60 pounds.

Training & Support

River has demonstrated excellent behavior, not barking excessively, jumping up, or destroying anything in the house. She also sits and stays patiently in the car. She quickly learned not to eat the cats' food when told "no."
