Coffee is a handsome 1-year-old male Labrador Creole mix who weighs about 30 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. Coffee is a loving, intelligent, obedient, and playful dog who is sociable with humans, children, and other dogs. He enjoys playtime, walks, and lots of affection. While he can be a little shy at first when meeting new people, he quickly melts into your arms once he feels comfortable. Coffee is also cat-friendly and has a joyful, funny personality, and is very loyal. He is already crate and leash trained. Coffee was rescued as a tiny puppy with his six siblings in the middle of a field.
Ideal Home
We're looking for homeowners with a fenced backyard who have active lifestyles and enjoy outdoor activities. Families with an open mind about the needs of rescued animals, and those with experience in dog behavior and training are ideal. We also need adopters with high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies, as they are not yet house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Coffee has received extensive veterinary care. This includes a spay/neuter certificate, two DHPPI vaccines, a rabies vaccine, a Bordetella vaccine, deworming, and he is microchipped. He also received a 4DX test and certificate, a negative heartworm test certificate, and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. He comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Coffee is not house-trained, which is common for rescued animals as our foster homes are often full. We invest our time in their health and emotional rehabilitation, and while we aim to house-train every animal, it's an impossible task with so many in our care. We are looking for adopters with experience in dog behavior and training who can continue his education with patience and understanding.

Transporation
Coffee is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transportation to your home address on the East Coast is available for an additional fee of $400.00, paid by the adopter prior to departure.
