Meet Joni!
Joni is a gentle soul with the sweetest smile that will melt your heart. She enjoys taking in the world from the comfort of a window, where she can happily watch birds, squirrels, and everything happening outside. Curious by nature, Joni likes to explore at her own pace and appreciates having cozy, safe spaces where she can relax and feel secure.
Ideal Home
Joni would thrive in a patient home that understands she may need a little extra time to settle in. Loud noises and sudden movements can make her a little uneasy.
Ongoing Health
Joni tested positive for Heartworm upon arrival. She will be undergoing a 3-month treatment process at home, followed by a final test six months after treatment begins. The heartworm treatment process is highly successful, and she is anticipated to make a full recovery. Heartworm can only be transmitted from animal to animal by mosquitoes.
