Clover

Hi, my name is Clover, and I'm a handsome shepherd mix who's about a year old. I'm a bit of a mystery, but I've already shown I can get along with some other dogs, especially the fellas. I'm still figuring out how to make friends with the shy ladies, and I haven't met any feline friends yet. I'm a big fan of people, both men and women, and while I haven't met any kiddos here at the shelter, a meet-and-greet would be a great way to see if we click! The shelter team recommends taking things slow when introducing me to new environments and pals, and they always suggest following the 3/3/3 rule, no matter how I seem to be doing in my kennel. I'm considered "code red" because I can bark, stare, and growl when people approach my kennel. This means I'm at risk for euthanasia, and I'm really hoping to find my forever family soon.

Ideal Home

A home that understands the importance of slow introductions and giving a new dog time to adjust using the 3/3/3 rule. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is recommended.

Ongoing Health

Clover is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

I can be a bit vocal when people approach my kennel, sometimes barking, staring, or growling. It's important for my new family to be patient and work with me on this. Following the 3/3/3 rule for introductions is key to my success.
