Penny is a beautiful, strong 4-year-old girl weighing about 63 pounds. While she isn’t a beginner dog, she is an incredibly loving one. Once she feels safe, Penny is a total love bug. She bonds deeply with her people and has that steady, soulful presence that makes you feel chosen. At home, Penny is wonderfully chill. She knows how to relax, enjoys lounging near her humans, and brings a calm, grounded energy to her space. She’s not chaotic or high-strung — she just needs the right environment to feel secure. She also has a fun side — introduce her to water and she lights up. Splashing, wading, exploring — she’s absolutely about that life. Penny is a work in progress with a story and a heart that has seen a lot but still chooses to trust again.
Ideal Home
Busy city life isn’t for her. Too much noise and activity can make her nervous, so Penny would thrive in a quieter suburban or country home with space to stretch her legs and decompress. Give her room to run, a predictable routine, and a confident handler, and you’ll see her best self. A home near a lake, a big yard with a kiddie pool, or outdoor adventures would make her very happy. Penny can be selective with other dogs and needs proper, structured introductions. Penny is not cat-friendly and will need a cat-free home. Because of her size and strength, Penny would do best in a home with teens and older (13+).
Ongoing Health

Training & Support
Penny can be selective with other dogs and needs proper, structured introductions. On leash, she can be reactive toward dogs, so she’s looking for an experienced owner who understands leash reactivity and is committed to continued training and clear boundaries. With confident leadership, she does best. She needs an experienced, patient owner who is willing to invest in her.
