About Stewy

Stewy is a lanky, brindle dog with a unique appearance that's a blend of a Dutch Shepherd, a baby deer, a fruit bat, and a sensitive teenager. He's a gentleman who is cautious at first but quickly warms up, showing his sweet, gentle, and easygoing nature. Stewy loves to "transport" shoes around the house, not to chew them, but as if they are prized possessions. He is incredibly sweet, submissive, and conflict-averse, often rolling over to show his belly even to smaller dogs. Stewy thrives with the companionship of other dogs, which helps him build confidence and settle in. Once he feels safe, he reveals his goofy, affectionate, playful, and loyal side. Despite his athletic appearance, Stewy is surprisingly low-energy, preferring short walks, backyard sniffing, and plenty of couch time. He is calm, respectful, crate trained, mostly potty trained, and knows commands like "stay" and "go outside." He's not loud or dramatic, making him a genuinely good dog with a quiet personality that slowly wins over his humans.

Ideal Home

Stewy would do well in a home with another friendly dog to help build his confidence. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are mentioned.

Training & Support

Stewy is crate trained and mostly potty trained. He knows commands like "stay" and "go outside." He is still learning to trust and settle into new environments, but his gentle nature makes him a joy to work with.
