Kacey

Kacey is an 8-year-old, 84-pound Akbash who has been healthy and active throughout her life. She is a loving, devoted companion who enjoys walks, hikes, car rides, and overseeing her domain as a great alarm dog. Her people are rehoming her because of unexpected, serious health issues in their family.

Ideal Home

Kacey would thrive in a rural or farm environment. Livestock Guardian Dog experience is preferred but not essential. She is friendly with strangers, adores familiar people, is good with children, and is friendly with dogs. As a guardian, she may take offense to reactive dogs. She has not been around cats since living on the farm.

Ongoing Health

Kacey has been spayed and microchipped, and her vaccinations are up to date.

Training & Support

Kacey is an adventurous companion who enjoys walks, hikes, and car rides. She will give her new people total love and devotion when she feels she can depend on their leadership.
