She is believed to be a 5-year-old, 54 lb German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. Ari Honey is a true beauty, always ready to strike a pose, and will melt your heart with her adorable head tilts. She is deeply connected to her person and excels in training, already knowing basic commands like "sit," "come," and "leave it." She walks beautifully on a leash, is comfortable in her crate, and has excellent house manners. Ari Honey is a medium-energy girl who enjoys daily exercise, whether it's a couch cuddle session, yard play, fetch, or a walk. What she loves most is positive reinforcement and knowing she's doing a good job.
Ideal Home
Ari Honey would thrive in a semi-active home with a family or individual who enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, or beach trips. She'd also be happy exploring local parks and trails. A home with a backyard would be a bonus, giving her space to roam and enjoy the sunshine. While she loves the outdoors, she's also an affectionate indoor companion who enjoys relaxing and cuddling. She would do well with a playful and happy-go-lucky male dog who can match her energy and enjoys snuggling. However, she doesn't require another dog in the home to be happy or meet her exercise needs.

Ari Honey is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, and a heartworm test. She also has a microchip with free lifetime registration and comes with a health certificate deeming her healthy for travel.

Ari Honey is a super smart dog and is a pro at training, already mastering basic commands. She walks well on a leash and has excellent house manners, including being comfortable in her crate. Her motivation comes from her connection with her person and positive praise, making her eager to please.

Ari Honey is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. This system ensures safe and comfortable travel for every pet, with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real-time, receive photo updates, and connect with other adopters and fosters through a private Facebook event page. A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs.
