Duri

Meet Duri, a sweet girl whose journey from survival mode to sunshine is truly inspiring. Found alongside her brother Jack, Duri endured a difficult early life filled with fear and constant threats from street dogs. This made survival mode her norm. However, her story has a brighter chapter now! Duri has successfully completed heartworm treatment and an intensive rehabilitation program, and she's finally discovering what happiness feels like with a soft bed, gentle hands, and room to be loved. Duri adores people, but her past experiences mean she's still learning to feel safe around other dogs. It's fear, not aggression, and she's making great progress each day.

Ideal Home

Duri is looking for a patient, compassionate home with a big heart ready to embrace all the love she has to give. Given her past, she needs an environment where she can continue to build confidence and feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Duri has completed her heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Duri is working through her fear of other dogs and is making progress. She will need continued patience and understanding as she blossoms.

Duri is currently in Levittown, PA. She will fly into Newark, NJ, once adopted for pick-up.
