Blu, a one-year-old, 30lb sweetheart with a curious mind, a playful spirit, and an enthusiasm for life that's absolutely contagious. Rescued and now thriving in NYC, Blu has taken to big city living like a natural, eagerly soaking up every new sight, sound, and smell the streets have to offer. He's a true social butterfly who greets new people with excitement and accepts every pet and kiss that comes his way. On walks he's an energetic explorer, always checking in to make sure his person is right there with him, and at home he transitions into a wonderfully calm companion, happy to lounge on the sofa, work a Kong ball for treats, or catch up on whatever's on TV. He already knows sit, paw, leave it, stay, and come, and being food-motivated makes training him a genuine joy.

Ideal Home

Blu is looking for an active, engaged adopter who loves daily adventures as much as he does, whether that's a brisk neighborhood walk or a romp at the dog park. He's a great fit for apartment living with access to outdoor space, and he'd do well as an only dog or with a canine companion.

Blu is still polishing his leash manners, but he's remarkably quick to learn and responds beautifully to calm corrections and praise. Being food-motivated makes training him a genuine joy. Once the day's adventures are done, Blu is happiest curled up close to his person, especially if you happen to find that perfect spot behind his chin or neck.
