Malibu

Malibu is a stunning 4-year-old male Husky mix who found himself in a tough situation in a Houston kill shelter. He was found as a stray, not microchipped, and not neutered. Thankfully, Animal Control intervened, and he's now safe with us and fully vetted. Despite his past, Malibu's spirit is incredibly bright! He's playful, sweet, and deeply affectionate, cherishing every bit of human interaction. Once he settles in, he shows a calm and gentle demeanor, but you can still see the joy of a dog who knows he's been given a second chance at life. Malibu is ready for his next adventure and a loving family to call his own.

Malibu would thrive in a home where he can continue to receive the love and attention he deserves.

Ongoing Health

Malibu is heartworm positive but is already on the road to recovery. He has received his ProHeart 12 injection and is completing a 30-day course of doxycycline as part of his slow-kill treatment protocol.

Training & Support

Malibu is noted as not being house-trained. Patience and consistency will be key to helping him succeed in this area.
