Toots

Toots is now on the prowl for her next adventure! She came to us with a completely rotten mouth. It was so bad you could smell her before you saw her. On her intake visit, the vet did an emergency dental because the infection was so bad, and Toots lost all her teeth. It took almost 3 weeks for the infection to go away. She also had a large lipoma on her chest that we had to wait to remove because of the bacteria in her mouth. She has recovered from her emergency dental and had the lipoma removed. She has gained some weight and looks wonderful. Now that she's feeling better, this girl is so happy. She loves to lay in the sun or up on the couch watching TV. She will do her best to snuggle right behind you, between you and the couch cushion. She does get excited when her people come home, but she does settle easily.

Ongoing Health

Toots had an emergency dental extraction due to a severe infection, and also had a lipoma removed from her chest. She has recovered well from both procedures and is now feeling great. She can eat kibble, but prefers small bites.

Training & Support

Toots LOVES to eat and knows how to use her puppy-dog eyes to get extra treats or food. A sign that says "The dog has been fed. Don't fall for her lies" might be helpful!
