Jax truly is the whole package! Handsome, sweet, funny, and smart, this happy boy has the perfect balance of playful energy and snuggly affection. He absolutely LOVES to catch and retrieve his ball and will happily share his toys and food with both people and his dog friends.

With his goofy, clumsy play style, Jax keeps everyone laughing—but he’s also incredibly respectful, taking corrections beautifully from dogs of all sizes. He’s fully house- and kennel-trained, listens well, and wants nothing more than to make his people happy. Jax is an active dog who needs a fenced back yard to roam freely.

Jax adores children of all ages and makes a wonderful family companion. After a fun day of play, he’s just as excited to settle in for some cuddle time.

This amazing boy’s story almost had a heartbreaking ending. Jax was dumped in a parking lot in Memphis and ended up at the shelter, where he was literally minutes away from being euthanized when he was rescued. Now, he’s ready for a forever home where he can shine as the incredible dog he is.
