Oliver is an 11-month-old Great Pyrenees mix who is 100 pounds of pure joy, boundless enthusiasm, and a charmingly clumsy approach to personal space. He came to us as a young pup with significant vision issues due to detached retinas. Thanks to dedicated care, life-changing surgery, and a bit of veterinary magic, Oliver can now see! He's embraced his newfound vision with gusto, believing the world is an amazing place filled with potential friends.
Oliver adores people, dogs, and life in general. He would also love cats, but unfortunately, he can't live with them. His affectionate nature manifests as exuberant puppy affection, and it's a bit much for most feline companions.
He's a well-mannered house guest, a great car rider, and an all-around fantastic dog. Oliver is sweet, social, and deeply committed to the idea that playtime is a valid and important lifestyle choice. He'd be happiest with another active, playful dog to be his best friend and to share in his big, teenage-dog adventures.
Ideal Home
Oliver needs a securely fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and explore. This energetic boy needs space to express his abundant joy and supervise his kingdom. He's an outstanding companion for a home with children over the age of 8.
Ongoing Health
Oliver has had surgery to address detached retinas and other vision issues. He can now see, but potential adopters should be aware of his past medical history.
Training & Support
Oliver is generally well-mannered in the house and enjoys car rides. He thrives on playtime and needs an active companion to match his energy.
