Meet Suzie, a beautiful 5-year-old mixed breed who has been waiting for her forever home for five long years. She's full of life, love, and a joyful, playful spirit. Suzie gives everything she has to playtime, to cuddles, and to the people she loves. She's the kind of dog who becomes your shadow, your adventure buddy, and your biggest fan. She is affectionate, loyal to her core, a little goofy, and obsessed with toys. Once Suzie chooses you as her person, she loves with her whole heart. Five years is far too long for a dog this special to wait. Suzie isn't asking for perfection – just someone who will finally choose her.
Ideal Home
Suzie would thrive in a house where she is the single alpha, or in a home with another confident canine companion who can keep up with her fun, rough-and-tumble play style. She would do best with older kids who can match her energy. Her least favorite things are thunderstorms, and she feels safe in her kennel during these times.
Ongoing Health
Suzie is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, heartworm prevention, and flea & tick medications. She comes with a health certificate before transport.
Training & Support
Suzie is house trained and leash trained. She is still learning some basic manners, such as begging for food. She will need a patient family that understands she doesn't always realize her size or strength. She thrives off a consistent, structured household. Boundaries work best for Suzie, and she eats in her kennel. She is kennel trained but can roam the house without destroying it.

Transporation
Suzie is currently in Texas and is available for transport. Local adoption fee: $300. Out-of-state adoption fee: $500 (transport included).
