Meet Smokey! This handsome 2-year-old Cane Corso / Weimaraner mix is a real sweetheart who came to us as a stray. Weighing in at 53 pounds, Smokey is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and is just waiting to shower his forever family with love and affection. He's a smart and quick learner with a heart of gold, and he's truly a kind-hearted and affectionate companion.
Ideal Home
Smokey would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can play chase with his doggy friends. He enjoys a good snuggle and quiet time, and would be happiest in a low-traffic home due to his initial shyness with new people. Smokey would prefer a home without cats. He does well if left to free roam and would be best suited for someone with a house rather than an apartment, ideally with someone who works from home or is only away for a few hours a day.

Smokey is up-to-date on all his vaccinations and is neutered.
Training & Support
Smokey is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. He can be a little nervous around strangers and might bark out of excitement, but is easily redirected. He does get excited in the beginning and will pull just slightly, but he settles in and walks calmly by your side. Smokey is not a huge fan of the crate and prefers not to be shut in. He does have some separation anxiety and will cry for a bit when you leave, but he stops crying and doesn't tear anything up. He would also do really well in a home with a doggie companion as he loves playing with other dogs and is very submissive during play.
