Meet Dragonfly! This gorgeous 1-year-old husky mix (DNA results available!) came to us with her sister, Junebug, after an unexpected litter. Dragonfly was initially quite shy, but with the love and patience of her foster home, her wonderful personality has truly blossomed! She's now fully housetrained, a well-mannered girl, and incredibly smart. Dragonfly can be a bit timid around young children, so a home with teenagers and older would be ideal, though she's making progress every day! She walks beautifully on leash, staying close and naturally heeling without prompting. She also has a reduced adoption fee!
Dragonfly gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely loves to play. She does prefer her own space when it's time for meals. Her favorite thing in the world is her ball – she's even figured out how to throw it for herself! Lately, she's been getting the zoomies, which is a joy to witness. She's curious about cats but responds well to redirection and will leave them be when asked. When she first arrived, she was a little wary of her foster's husband, but she's shown incredible progress and now seeks him out for belly rubs and affection. If you're looking for a dog who will adore you after earning your trust, Dragonfly might be the one!

Transportation
Dragonfly is located in South Carolina and we transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
