Lanie

Lanie is a spirited and affectionate 53-pound Labrador retriever mix whose enthusiasm for life is undeniable. Despite her past, Lanie's curiosity knows no bounds, and she's always eager to explore her surroundings, especially on long walks and car rides. She also settles comfortably in her crate, which she views as her safe space, and loves to snuggle up with a toy. Lanie loves everyone she meets and will adore you even more if you have a treat, with peanut butter being a particular favorite! She has a sweet disposition and is looking for a loving home where she can soak up all the attention. Lanie had a rough start, with a substantial scar around her neck from a rope that was embedded and required multiple surgeries. She has since healed and gained weight, and she's hoping her adopter can look past her scar and love her for who she is.

Ideal Home

Lanie is dog reactive and should be the only dog in the home. A visible above-ground fence is required.

Lanie has healed from surgeries related to a rope injury around her neck.
