Hi, my name is Checkers! I'm a 1-year-old, 52-pound bundle of joy who was unfortunately abandoned on the streets of Los Angeles. After a scary time surviving on my own and in a shelter, a wonderful family saved me and showed me that people can be kind. They helped me feel safe, taught me valuable skills, and now I'm ready to find my forever family. I promise to be your loyal shadow and best friend, keeping you entertained by tossing my toys, joining you on sniffy walks, and offering plenty of tail wags!
