Ava

Ava is a delightful and energetic young lady who will be celebrating her second birthday this December! Weighing in at around 43 lbs, she's the perfect size for adventures. Ava is a social butterfly who adores her fellow canine companions and is a hit at the dog park and daycare. She loves to play with every dog she meets, so a home with another playful pup would be her dream come true!

Ideal Home

Ava would thrive with an active family who is home during the day. She loves the outdoors and would be a fantastic companion for hikes, trips to the pool, lake, or beach. She's a big fan of tug-of-war and fetch! While Ava is generally good with children, her energetic zoomies mean a family with kids aged 12 and up would be best. She absolutely needs a securely fenced yard, as she can easily jump a 4-foot fence.

Ava is in great health and has no known medical conditions.

Training & Support

Ava is house-trained and doesn't need to be crated when left alone; she enjoys free roam of the house and is well-behaved, provided there's no tempting food left out! While she's not a fan of crates, she has tolerated them in the past. She can be a little shy around new people at first, especially adult men, but she warms up quickly. With her intelligence, she'd likely do well with an invisible fence if that's an option for your home.
