Micaela

Micaela is a beautiful approximately 2-year-old husky who has overcome incredible hardship. She arrived at the shelter in significant pain due to a fractured jaw and bleeding gums. Despite her difficult past, Micaela is a resilient and gentle soul. She is learning to trust again and shows her gratitude with soft eyes and a leaning into gentle touch. Her journey to healing is underway, and she is now ready for a loving forever home where she can finally feel safe and cherished.

Ongoing Health

Micaela is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment. She has also had a full dental cleaning and removal of damaged teeth to address past injuries to her jaw. She is expected to live a completely normal, pain-free life.

Micaela is still learning to trust and will benefit from patience and positive reinforcement as she continues to heal and adjust to her new life.
