Roger is a sweet, approximately 9-10 year old, 75lb Lab mix who is desperately hoping to find his forever family. His owner had to make the difficult decision to rehome him due to health issues. Roger enjoys a slow-paced walk, rides well in the car, and loves to snuggle on the couch. He is very affectionate, enjoys being petted, and will follow his favorite people from room to room. When visitors arrive, Roger will bark excitedly but quickly settles down within about five minutes. He is also house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Roger can be a bit of a resource guarder, so he would do best in a home without children under 16. He lived with another dog previously and misses his companion. He has shown himself to be good with cats, and his foster shares that he is scared if the cat swats at him, proving he's a gentle soul.
