Lluvia is a sweet and playful 8-month-old female Labrador mix who is ready to travel to her forever home! Weighing 16 lbs currently, she's expected to grow to about 32-38 lbs. Lluvia has a happy and energetic personality. She's social with other dogs and people, including strangers, approaching them with curiosity and confidence. She absolutely loves to run, jump, and play, especially with her toys! Lluvia enjoys chewing and playing with colorful dog balls and is also very fond of affection, happily accepting pets and cuddles. She has not shown any aggressive behavior and while she might be a little cautious in new situations, she never acts aggressively and does not bite. Her gentle and playful nature makes her a wonderful companion for an active family looking for a loving puppy.
Ideal Home
Lluvia would thrive in a home with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and has a fenced backyard. She needs a family with the intention to truly rescue a dog, understanding their need for protection and education. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a trainer, are ideal. Patience and high tolerance for a rescued puppy are a must.
Ongoing Health
Lluvia has received a spay/neuter certificate, 2 DHPPI vaccines, a rabies vaccine, a Bordetella vaccine, has been dewormed, and microchipped. She has also had a 4DX test and certificate, a negative heartworm test certificate, and is on monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra. A health certificate and vaccine booklet are included. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period and may need time to adapt to new environments and people.
Training & Support
Lluvia is not house-trained and will need consistent guidance and patience to learn. It's important to establish a routine and clear boundaries to help her feel secure. Owners should be prepared to invest time in her training and emotional rehabilitation, as rescued pets may have fears and anxieties due to past experiences.

Transportation
Lluvia is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a one-time fee of $400 USD. Our transport company organizes 3-4 trips per year, bringing adopted pets across the border into Texas. You'll receive real-time updates through a private Facebook Messenger group, and the transport team will conduct a final home review upon arrival.
