Evelyn

This tiny senior girl was found all alone and unwanted in a crowded shelter. Despite repeated pleas for rescue, no one could take her, and time was running out. We couldn't bear the thought of her suffering or dying alone, so we decided to give her a sweet last chapter, no matter how long or short it may be. Evelyn is a hospice case, weighing in at just 5 pounds. She is very elderly and appears to be mostly blind and deaf, but she is incredibly sweet, easy to handle, and has a good appetite. We will be assessing her needs as we go, but our plan is to love and care for her gently until she passes, rather than subject her to any stressful procedures.

Ideal Home

Evelyn would thrive in a calm and loving home where she can be cherished for her remaining time. Given her age and apparent sensory impairments, a quiet environment with a predictable routine would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Evelyn is a hospice patient. We are focusing on providing gentle care and comfort rather than pursuing extensive medical procedures like spaying or dental work.
