Kamoku & Kasumi

Kamoku and Kasumi are a bonded pair who absolutely must be adopted together. Kamoku, a 14-year-old Dachshund mix weighing 17 lbs, and Kasumi, a 5-year-old Cairn Terrier mix who currently weighs 38 lbs (but is working towards a goal weight of 22 lbs), were surrendered to us when their beloved owner's health declined. They arrived with a decade's worth of holiday photos, showcasing their owner's deep affection and dedication to documenting their lives. When separated, Kamoku lost his appetite, and Kasumi became inconsolable. Together, they are mellow, affectionate, and coexist peacefully with other dogs, cats, and children.

Ideal Home

A home that understands the importance of keeping this sweet duo together. They are affectionate and calm when with people and should do well with children and other pets.

Ongoing Health

Kasumi is currently overweight and is working towards a healthier weight.

Training & Support

Both Kamoku and Kasumi are noted to be good with kids, cats, and dogs. They are also noted to be house-trained.

Transporation

Kamoku and Kasumi are currently being fostered in Brooklyn, NY. They are available for local or out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter can travel to New York to meet them.
