Meet Chippy! This 6-year-old, 20lb Chihuahua mix is a true gem. He was found abandoned in a kennel outside a PetSmart in North Carolina, but he's ready to leave his past behind and find his forever family. Chippy is a quiet, gentle soul who is blossoming and learning to trust. He enjoys basking in the sun, going for stroller walks, and making new canine friends at the dog park. He's incredibly food-motivated, making him a joy to train with treats! Chippy is also great with other dogs, cats, and children. He's a calm companion who loves to snuggle and has a good appetite. While he's still getting used to stairs, he's making great progress. He enjoys playing with balls and even fetches! Chippy is adaptable, matching the energy of his household, whether it's relaxing during work-from-home hours or getting excited for outdoor adventures.
