💙✨ Meet Lazarus, also known as Lazzie! ✨💙

Lazzie is a 3-4 year old, 50 lb. handsome black Lab mix with a gorgeous, shiny coat. He's a volunteer favorite, known for being calm, gentle, and quiet. Lazzie loves to lounge and cuddle on the bed with his canine companions and his people. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and currently lives harmoniously with a chihuahua and a 70 lb. pittie. Lazzie recently attended an adoption event at a local bar and enjoyed socializing, making new friends, and was very sweet and gentle with everyone he met. He came to us as a stray, found alone in a ditch covered in mange and suffering from an upper respiratory infection. Thankfully, he has made a full recovery and is now healthy, strong, and strikingly handsome!

Ideal Home

Lazzie thrives in a home where he can lounge and cuddle with his people and other dogs. He has experience living with dogs of various sizes and appears to be friendly and gentle with strangers.

Ongoing Health

Lazzie is fully vaccinated and neutered. He has made a full recovery from his past skin and respiratory issues.

Training & Support

Lazzie is kennel trained and potty trained. He has shown confidence in social situations when accompanied by familiar dogs.

Transportation

Lazzie is located in Houston, TX. Transportation is included in the adoption fee and can include pick-up locations across city, county, or even state lines. We coordinate with multiple ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and will receive updates along the way.
