Nona is a 1-year-old, 50 lb, spayed female Staffie mix who is currently being fostered in Texas. She's a playful and affectionate girl with a confidence that's growing every day. Nona is built like a little tank with a short, sturdy frame, and she loves to zoom around the backyard with her favorite toys. She greets her foster mom with an enthusiastic leap when she comes home and her whole body wiggles with excitement, especially her adorable booty! Nona is a social butterfly and loves meeting new people and dogs. She recently met a child and did wonderfully. She's a clever girl who loves to solve puzzles and is motivated by toys and treats, making training fun. She has mastered "sit" and is working on her leash manners. Nona enjoys walks of up to 2-3 miles and settles beautifully in her crate overnight. She's also doing great with potty training and is a shy little watchdog. One of her most irresistible features is her adorable underbite, which makes her goofy expressions even cuter.
Ideal Home
Nona would do best in a home with a confident canine companion who is respectful of personal space and happy to share the spotlight. She might also do well in a calm home with respectful, well-mannered children who understand how to interact with an older puppy.
Ongoing Health
Nona is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Nona is fully crate trained and doing great with potty training, but will need continued reinforcement of her routine. She is working on her leash manners and may need guidance with her shyness around unfamiliar sights and sounds.
