Trout

Trout is an incredibly adorable 10-week-old Australian Shepherd/Basset Hound mix with tiny stubby legs and a chunky, fluffy body. He's even cuter in person and is a total sweetie pie who wants to be with you all the time. Trout is confident and adventurous, and he'll follow you anywhere, definitely possessing that "shadow dog" personality. He's great with other dogs, cats, and kids!

Ideal Home

Trout would thrive in a home where he can be a constant companion and explore with his family.

Ongoing Health

Trout will come to you spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations (for his age), and up to date on preventatives. He will also receive an additional exam and health certificate from a state-licensed veterinarian prior to travel.

Training & Support

Trout is a confident and adventurous pup who enjoys being with his people. Continued socialization and positive reinforcement will help him thrive.

Transporation

Trout is currently located at our shelter in Lucedale, MS. He is available for transport to a pickup location, with transports generally running every two weeks. You are also welcome to pick him up in person at our shelter at no additional cost. If you choose our semi-private transport, there is an additional fee of $185.
