Millie

Millie is a sweet 1-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who has blossomed since arriving from a hoarding situation in the South. She can be a bit shy when you first meet her, but with a little time and patience, her playful and affectionate personality truly shines through. Millie loves to be with her person and enjoys playtime once she feels safe and secure. She gets along well with other small dogs.

Ideal Home

Millie would thrive in a home where someone is present for at least part of the day to help her adjust and build confidence. Older children would be just fine for this lovely girl. She will need a loving and patient family to help her understand what a truly wonderful home feels like.

Ongoing Health

Millie has a small cataract on her right eye. It is not currently causing her any discomfort or vision issues, but it may require removal in the future if it begins to bother her. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Millie is already house-trained and crate-trained. She just needs a family committed to giving her the time and patience she deserves to fully come out of her shell.
