Rusty A Calm & Gentle Soul, Snuggles, Good w/Dogs, 4 yrs old, 55 lbs

Rusty is a wonderfully calm and gentle 4-year-old Retriever/Lab mix, weighing around 55 pounds. He was rescued from a high-intake shelter where he was at risk due to space limitations, but his former shelter staff knew him to be an amazing dog. Now, he's thriving in his foster home and proving to be a loyal and affectionate companion. Rusty loves to snuggle on the couch and enjoys gentle play with other dogs, but he's equally happy just relaxing by your side. He's friendly, loves attention, and happily sits still for brushing.

Ideal Home

Rusty would love a home where he can be a cherished companion. He has been living happily with two other dogs and three teenage boys, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Rusty is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. He will receive a final veterinary health inspection before joining his forever family.

Training & Support

Rusty is house-trained and crate-trained, and he even enjoys lounging in his crate with the door open. He's an all-around wonderful boy who is ready to start his next chapter.
