Sheldon - fostered in Omaha

Sheldon is a young, approximately 45 lb Cattle Dog/Heeler mix who is eager to find his forever home! He's a food-motivated boy who loves to shower his people with affection, sometimes a little too enthusiastically with his licks and jumps, but he's learning quickly!

Ideal Home

Sheldon would love a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play. He gets along well with female dogs and enjoys their company, but can be a bit wary of male dogs. He'd prefer a home without cats. Sheldon can resource guard his favorite humans, so a home that understands and can work with this trait would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Sheldon is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Sheldon is still mastering his manners and is learning to control his excitement. He's doing well with potty and kennel training. He thrives with plenty of exercise, enrichment activities, and quality time with his family. He is lucky to have lifetime support from a certified dog trainer in Omaha, which will be available to his new family.

Sheldon is currently being fostered in Omaha. Local adoptions are preferred to facilitate access to training support, though FaceTime calls can be arranged if needed.
