Alexis

Meet Alexis. Alexis is a beautiful 3-year-old Carolina Dog who weighs about 45 lbs. She is a survivor, having overcome a difficult past filled with hardship and loss. Despite her challenges, Alexis has a heart full of love and gratitude, always eager to offer kisses and affection. She's a bright girl, fully potty trained, and knows commands like "sit" and "shake." Alexis has a lot of energy and would thrive in an active home. She also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love a canine sibling.

Ideal Home

Alexis would do best in a home with a fenced yard. She is great with older children but may accidentally knock over very young ones due to her enthusiasm.

Ongoing Health

Alexis is a healthy dog and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Alexis is working on her leash manners and is eager to please. Her biggest challenge is her exuberance when meeting new people; she sometimes forgets her manners and jumps up to greet them. Consistent positive reinforcement will help her learn to greet everyone with all four paws on the floor.
