Kai is a beautiful girl with a heart as big as her ears! She loves to run, play, and chase balls. She would thrive with an active family who loves to go for lots of adventures. If you love long walks on the beach, hikes, or car rides, Kai is your girl! Kai was rescued as a stray after being dumped by her owners in Houston, Tx. She has been through a lot, but now she’s ready to find her forever person. Kai has all the puppy energy and lots of love to go around. She would likely do well in a home with another dog that matches her energy level or as an only fur-child. She has met kids between 7-10 years old and loved playing fetch with them. She is a truly sweet and beautiful soul. She is incredibly intelligent, athletic, and loving.

Kai would thrive with an active family who loves adventures and outdoor activities. She has done well with children between the ages of 7-10 and could be the only fur-child or live with another dog that matches her energy level.

Kai is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Kai is kennel and potty trained. She is eligible for 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. Adopters are also invited to join the "Alum Pupdates" Facebook group.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas.
- Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available for tracking dogs on transport.

Kai is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and pickup locations may vary, including to nearby towns, counties, or states.
