Dixie

Dixie has blossomed into a healthy, vibrant, and loving companion after being rescued while battling severe pneumonia, parasites, and heartworms. This petite Kelpie mix is devoted, playful, happy, and eager to be by her person's side for every adventure—from hiking and errands to relaxing at home.

Ideal Home

Dixie would thrive with an active individual or family who wants to include her in daily outings. She needs a home without cats, rabbits, or other small animals because of her strong prey drive. A secure yard or commitment to daily structured exercise and mental stimulation would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Dixie is now described as healthy and vibrant. She previously battled severe pneumonia, parasites, and heartworms.

Training & Support

Dixie is a devoted shadow dog who loves to play, cuddle, and stay close to her people. Her Kelpie spirit will thrive with exercise, mental stimulation, and opportunities to have a job to do.
