About Junior Bear the Tongue Out Sweetheart
Junior Bear honestly looks like a perfect combination of a sweet old grandpa, a baby polar bear, and Sid from Ice Age. He was found in rough shape, but his coat is already coming back beautifully, and he's getting cuter by the day! With his permanently expressive face, the little tongue that always sticks out, and a shy, gentle personality, Junior Bear is a dog that will quietly steal your heart. Prepare to be emotionally attached to the wonderfully weirdest, cutest old man face you've ever seen! Junior Bear is believed to be a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix, approximately 6 years old and around 50 lbs. He is a rescue dog, and we can't guarantee breed or age, but we can guarantee he has one of the most unintentionally hilarious and lovable faces we've ever encountered. His expressions are truly incredible, and you'll often wonder what thoughts are running through his head.
Ideal Home
Junior Bear is a slow burn with people and new environments, needing time to settle in and feel safe before opening up. He responds well to baby talk, soft voices, and being allowed to approach on his own terms. Once he warms up, he shows a sweet, cuddly side. He is dog-friendly and has done well with dogs of all sizes, preferring quiet coexistence over play. He would do best with lower to medium energy, respectful dogs that will give him space. He was also respectful and appropriate around a house cat. He walks well on leash when given gentle guidance and prefers to lead the way at his own pace. Too much leash pressure can cause him to freeze. He needs a patient, understanding adopter who will go slow while building trust. He could potentially do okay in an apartment but would benefit from access to a small yard to help him settle in and build confidence.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions were mentioned in the listing.
