R.A.D. is a super cool puppy with a super cool name, and it has a special meaning! While you might think "Rad" stands for "radical" (and, honestly, this little pup is that awesome), it’s actually an acronym for River Arts District—a vibrant artist community in Asheville, North Carolina, that was recently tragically devastated by Hurricane Helene. At just five months old, R.A.D. is one of six Boxer-Mountain Cur mix puppies from a litter rescued in the aftermath of the storm. Like his namesake, this pup is creative and full of personality! He loves exploring, playing with his siblings, and learning new things—he’s super smart and already picking up on basic training. R.A.D. has a striking brindle, black & white coat with expressive eyes that seem to say, "I'm ready for adventure!" Whether it’s a hike, a romp in the yard, or snuggling on the couch, he’s happy just to be with his people. He gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home that embraces his playful, energetic spirit. R.A.D. is fostered in Canterbury, Connecticut, and is ready to bring a little artistic flair and a lot of love to his forever home. Could you be the perfect match for this hurricane survivor with a heart as big as his story?
