Patty - Summer Lovin' Promo - Foster to Adopt

Hello there! My name is Patty, and I'm a sweet four-year-old girl who's ready to find my forever home. I've already been a mom once, taking care of my puppies until they were ready to fly the coop. Now, it's my turn to find some love and care of my own. My foster dad says my superpower is my adorable stare with my big, beautiful brown eyes! I'm still a little shy when I first meet new people, but I absolutely love going for walks and getting to know the neighbors. I'm getting used to my big, clumsy foster brother, and we're slowly becoming friends.

Ideal Home

I'm a big fan of being close to my people, so a home where I can relax at your feet would be wonderful. I'm still learning about crates, but I'm already a pro at letting my foster dad know when I need to go outside. I'm curious about homes with cats, as I've lived with them before, but I haven't been around small children yet.

Ongoing Health

I am currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. My foster family is making sure I get the best care, and Warrior Dog Rescue will cover the cost of my heartworm treatment and preventatives until it's complete. Once my treatment is finished and I test negative, I'll be ready to be spayed. Any other medical needs that arise before the adoption is finalized will be Warrior Dog's responsibility. After I receive a negative microfilaria test, continued use of monthly heartworm preventives will be important.

Training & Support

I'm doing great with house training and am learning to be comfortable with my crate. I love my "sniff" walks and am happy to explore the world with you.
