Maggie Flowers is a vibrant 6-year-old pittie mix, weighing around 50lbs, who approaches life with infectious enthusiasm! She's a master of the "happy dance" and finds immense joy in everything, from backyard explorations and games of fetch to simply enjoying a good cuddle session. Maggie loves to be involved in all family activities and is affectionate, eager to snuggle, and soak up all the attention. She has a particular fondness for Nerf footballs and is a strong swimmer who adores water. Maggie has experience living with children and genuinely enjoys meeting new people, sometimes greeting them with an excited jump that she's working on improving with training.
Ideal Home
Maggie would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard and a family who wants her to be a true part of their lives. She would do best as the only dog in the home and is not a good fit for homes with cats due to her strong chase instinct.
Ongoing Health
Maggie is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test. She also comes with a health certificate deeming her healthy for travel.
Training & Support
Maggie is a smart girl who already knows commands such as sit, down, wait, "go to your bed," and "in" for her crate. She is potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She has also learned excellent manners, such as waiting at open doors. While she's generally well-behaved, she can get overly excited when greeting new people and may jump up; consistent training will help her continue to improve.
