Meet Brody – a 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix who's a perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back charm! Brody is a lovable goofball who enjoys both outdoor adventures and cozy days on the couch. He's happy to dress up for holidays or themed events, as long as he's with his favorite people.
Ideal Home
Brody has done best with friendly, laid-back female dogs and would prefer a relaxed playmate. He's also happy to be your one-and-only pup, as long as he has space to run and play. A home with a secure backyard is ideal for him. He enjoys the company of children and would do best with older, dog-savvy kids (8-10+) who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. Brody is not a fan of cats.

Brody is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered.
Training & Support
Brody is house-trained and crate-trained, and he does well when left unsupervised in his crate. He is smart, food-motivated, and eager to please, thriving with structure, consistency, and encouragement. While he can get a little excited around assertive male dogs, he has shown great adaptability with calm guidance and positive experiences. He walks calmly on a loose leash and enjoys strolls. An owner experienced with Cattle Dogs, Pitbulls, or other intelligent working breeds would be a great match. He would benefit from daily walks, light adventure, and activities like scent work, agility, or obedience classes to keep his mind sharp.

Transporation
Brody is currently in Houston, Texas, and will be available for transport once his forever family is approved. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be placed on the next available transport.
