This handsome young Shepherd/Collie mix is ready to start the next chapter of his life. Boots was rescued from a crowded Texas shelter and has now found safety with us, eager to find the family he's always deserved. He's a little over a year old and around 50 pounds, bringing the perfect blend of playfulness, affection, and a desire to please. Boots loves people and isn't shy about showing it, whether he's leaning in for pets, offering a play bow, or gently asking for attention. He already knows "sit," appears to be house-trained, and takes treats with a gentle mouth. Boots is also a social butterfly with other dogs and has earned Rockstar status in playgroups for his friendly and playful nature. He would love to have a dog friend to romp around with. Despite enduring uncertainty, Boots greets the world with a wagging tail and a hopeful spirit, making him a happy, loving boy.
