Duke is a sleek, handsome 38-pound fella who looks at you like you're the center of the universe, with a side of silliness! We think he's a blend of Pointer and perhaps a dash of Border Collie, making him the ideal medium size. He's ready to be your ultimate hang-out buddy, offering moral support while you work, and is happy to nap at your feet. Duke is a smart cookie who is crate trained and has a gold star in potty training. He's been fantastic with kids of all ages and is a gentle, patient soul. He's also a social butterfly with other dogs, from tiny Shih Tzus to a giant Great Pyrenees, and loves a good game of chase. He'd love a home with a fur sibling to keep the games going. While Duke hasn't shared his feelings about cats yet, we'd love to arrange a kitty slumber party to ensure he's ready to share his space.
Ideal Home
Duke is a backyard enthusiast who dreams of having his very own fenced-in kingdom! He would be happiest in a quiet neighborhood with a lush, sunny yard where he can perform his daily victory laps, hunt for the perfect stick, and sunbathe. Busy apartment life with noisy hallways and elevators is a bit too "extra" for his chill vibe.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned.
Training & Support
Duke is crate trained and potty trained, with no accidents reported. He is a social butterfly with other dogs and gentle with children. His readiness to coexist with cats is still to be determined and will be assessed through a "kitty slumber party."
