Hi, my name is Leona, which is akin to lioness! It means strength, courage, and bravery. I am approximately seven years old, weigh 41 pounds, and my people think I am a shepherd mix. I'm the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion.

I am a confident dog and absolutely love being out and about – walks, hikes, beach days, camping... you name it, I'm in! I'm a curious girl who loves to explore the world (especially all those amazing smells), but I'm just as happy relaxing right by your side when the day winds down. I am a super sweet, happy girl who has never met a stranger. No warm-up period needed – I'm ready to love you from the very first hello! I get along well with other dogs and would enjoy a furry friend, but I'm also perfectly content being your one and only.

My story started a little uncertain – I was found running loose in a neighborhood with no microchip or ID. Sadly, no one came looking for me... but that just means my real family is still out there waiting to find me.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home that can keep up with my adventurous spirit but also appreciate quiet time together. I am not a big fan of cats, so I'll need a home without any feline friends.

I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

I am house trained, crate trained, and not much of a barker – just an easygoing, well-mannered girl looking for my forever home.
