BERNIE

Bernie is a sweet, wonderful, young Australian Shepherd with a tail, weighing about 38 lbs and approximately 1 year and 8 months old. She's a Black Tri spayed female, full of energy and a love for water, zoomies, and exploring. Bernie has shown aptitude for agility with stairs, tunnels, and catwalks, and knows basic commands like sit and down. She's friendly to all humans, unfazed by loud noises, and enjoys both company and solo adventures. She also has excellent recall and enjoys being home after her explorations.

Ideal Home

Bernie is looking for a dog-sport enthusiast with prior experience with high-energy Aussies. She needs someone with a solid plan to manage her energy and help her reach her potential. She is not suited for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Bernie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vet care.

Training & Support

Bernie is house trained and crate trained. She is still exhibiting puppy behaviors such as being mouthy, jumping up, and pulling on the leash. While progress is being made to curb these behaviors, it is an ongoing process.

Transporation

Bernie is located south of Pittsboro, NC / north of Sanford, NC. She travels well in a car and can be contentedly crated for transport.
