Bear

Bear’s mother was surrendered to a shelter we help in rural south Texas because she was pregnant with unwanted puppies. One of our selfless volunteers brought Bear’s mama into her home to give her a safe place to have her babies. Bear is now ready for adoption and is a sweet little boy who has completed his veterinary care. He is 3 months old and weighs 8 pounds. His mother only weighs 16 pounds, so we think he’ll be a small adult.

Ideal Home

Bear has done great with children as young as 6 and loves to play with other dogs. He hasn’t shown any aggression towards cats.

Ongoing Health

Bear is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bear is described as house-trained.
